Tonetastic: Writing a backend for communication between the Tonetastic website and their
SMS / Content Providers. The backen will be notified when new members are signing up through the website. From
there the backend takes care to proxy this information to the right content and sms providers which in turn proxy the
incoming SMS messages to the backend. The backend takes care of the scheduled jobs and WAP Push messages to deliver the
content to their subscribers. The backend includes a CRM to manage the customers and their subscription as well as statistics
and reporting
Jarl Timber: Replacing all desktop workstations for linux thin-clients. Installation and configuration of
Windows Terminal Server 2003. Expanding the infrastructure with Gnu/Linux firewall, Proxy, Mail Filter and Monitoring services.
Analysing existing infrastructure and solving the detected bottlenecks.
Mapper Lithography : Setting up a complete new infrastructure because of the company moving to a new
location. Building a temporary network and interconnection between the two locations so the users can
move to the new building without being cut of from the network. Transparently optimizing the current
server park with new servers and services to update security issues and data flow. Programming of some
intranet applications like an hour registration- and a order purchase system. Training of in house admin to
take over the current running servers and services.
The Sound of Data : Security audits ,secure and optimize the current network. Converting windows based
web- and database servers from Windows to GNU/Linux. Setting up a dynamic firewall with IDS and IPS ,
proxy and virus scanning.
Direct Uitzendbureau HQ : Converting the complete windows based network to a
GNU/Linux based network, including workstations. Used servers/programs (among others) : Samba ,
Cups, Tarrantella, Crossover, Debian, Lotus Notes.
Gremesh : Upgrading hosting services and implementation of monitoring systems/services.
Starting up projects based on VoIP (asterisk) and programming an interactive PBX.
H.B. Productions : Setting up hosting services and converting the windows based server park to a
GNU/Linux based one. Scripting, automation and interconnection of teletext, SMS, MMS, internet
